- Demonstrate gratitude at the end of the meeting and respect for the employer. Be sure to thank the employer for any potential opportunities after the meeting is over.
What education or further training would be required, if any, to advance within the company. Would this education occur within, or outside of the company? If this education occurs outside of the company does the company assist with funding or have some sort of job-sponsored education program?

Depending on the results of the classes and programs that are taken, the employer can gauge the potential of the individual. There are times when it may be impossible to advance the career at the current company. In times like these, it is better to move on to a different employment challenge and ensure that you are able to be satisfied with the job that is being completed and therefore, be happy with the career.
